Rosliston Forestry Centre is set in over 154 acres of expanding habitat. Its beautiful surroundings are the ideal environment for the birds. Come and join us on one of our experiences and not only will you witness the stunning location, but most importantly, you will experience falconry in many different ways.
Falconry Experiences is also ideal for mobile demonstrations and functions, to make that special occasion one to remember.

Falconry experience can offer you a personal Falconry service in the grounds of your chosen venue or our registered venue. Eagles, Falcons or Owl`s to welcome the Bride, Groom and their guests.

The Glade in the Forest _ Rosliston Forestry Centre
Couples can hire The Glade for their own special day, with its uniquely beautiful woodland location providing a natural background for you and your guests.
You can also take advantage of the romantic styled gazebo and let your imagination go wild with the natural outdoor experience that the arena can offer.
Falconry experience offers an alternative
to mainstream education.
School visits
Experienced falconers will bring a mobile Bird of Prey demonstration to your school. This can provide an alternative to classroom based learning or can simply be offered as a treat for assembly entertainment.

Alternative Education/ school exclusion
We have given young people ages 14-18 the opportunity to have a hands on approach to subjects within the national curriculum, through the Falconry Beginners course. The Falconry Beginners course is a national certificate, delivered through LANTRA accreditation within South Derbyshire. Our centre is registered to deliver this course using residential assessors; however our staff are able to visit your school if travel expenses are too costly.
Static Demonstration
Our static displays are an ideal crowd pleaser, whether it be a school fete, corporate event or even a wedding. The static displays give you a great opportunity to get your questions answered, with experienced falconers on hand you can really learn more about these magnificent birds of prey.
Flying Demonstration
With 2 x 20 min flying demonstrations and the option of the static display, this particular display encourages crowd participation. With games for the younger audience and physical demonstrations for the older audience, it’s sure to involve everyone!
There are a number of different gift experiences
available to you:

•A half a day course. £50 . 00 per person.

Encounter with Owls offers you the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the world’s most magnificent Owls.
We are privileged enough to have an array of unique Owls that make up the ‘British Owl Collection’, ranging from the infamous Tawny Owl to the inimitable Black Barn Owl.
Whilst blockbusters such as ‘Harry Potter’ and Disney’s ‘The Guardians’ are showcasing these remarkable birds on the big screen, you could have the chance to ‘encounter’ them for yourself.
Throughout this experience you may be given the opportunity to photograph, hold, fly and feed the Owls, whilst learning all you need to know about their species.

Whether you are an amateur photographer
studying the profession or an established
professional photographer, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
With a selection of over 30 birds of prey you are sure to get that headline shot.
Golden Eagle Photography Day - £150 . 00
The photographic safari day gives you the opportunity to capture memorable shots of this magnificent bird of prey in its natural habitat.
